Your friendly neighbours at Almost Gold Recordings are repping it on the London club scene. But with some important twists...
Imagine: a show combining some of your favourite established acts with the latest up-and-coming talent. At Tik Tac Toe, we go further.
You can grab a Sunday roast and a outrageously good cupcake, a beer, a tea or coffee, or whatever your poison happens to be; kick back with your mates over a quick board game; peruse a specially-assembled area of market stalls selling jewellery, arts, crafts and other trinkets,
And that's not all - join in a communal game of bingo to win some great prizes and grab some free goodie bags, courtesy of our friends at Esty and Rocksound Magazine.
Oh yeah - and it's free. We're really cool like that.
Joining us for our first show at the groovy LOCK TAVERN are three mighty fine acts indeed...
TEENAGERSINTOKYO (www.myspace.com/teenagersintokyo)
Having just released their David Kosten-produced debut album "Sacrifice" on the mega-cool Backyard Recordings label, we're very privileged to have the mighty Teenagersintokyo as our headliners.
BEAR DRIVER (www.myspace.com/thebeardriver)
With their impending single release for "Wolves" out on 5th July, and having quite literally blown us away with a dazzling performance at Great Escape 2010, Bear Driver are a band that will leave a smile stuck in your head like a pop song.
JAMIE LEY (www.myspace.com/jamieleymusic)
Jamie is a very talented young man. Having been picked out as an artist to watch for 2010 by XFM's John Kennedy (and quite a few other people for that matter!), a cut-back acoustic set with co-vocalist Elena Tonra is really not one to be missed.
